The Green Light Laser

The GL Laser is used to reduce an enlarged prostate. Formerly, the patient would have two or three inpatient days, a risk of bleeding possibly requiring a blood transfusion, and a longer recovery time. The GL Laser vaporizes the tissue so there is no risk of bleeding, and there is less risk of subsequent nerve damage as well as no days in acute care.
